Welcome to the first post in the Mandriva Rocks Weblog. For those who may already know me and for those who do not, I previously posted on the PCLinuxOS Rocks Weblog but began to get irritated with the lack of support and the lack of software available in the repositories so I switched to its original distrobution, Mandriva. Well, Mandravia, formally named Mandrake was derived from Redhat but that is another posting.

So far, I am very pleased with Mandriva. It certainly has come a long way from when it was Mandrake. I am pleased with the stability and the support available for it. In this weblog I will discuss various topics, hints, answers to frequently asked questions and so much more.
